We were delighted to participate in the recent European Solidarity Corps start-up seminar in Birmingham. The event brought together the first set of UK European Solidarity Corps beneficiaries to kick-off this year’s projects.
We went through a number of topics including contractual requirements, reporting, how to use Youthpass to recognise the skills developed by volunteers participating in the programme, and how to communicate about our project. It was great to learn more and to meet some of the other fantastic organisations involved in the programme this year.
Our European Solidarity Corps project, ELSE, will be starting over the coming months and will see volunteers go to Bulgaria to support English language learning.
